ical event notes, cant see them in leopard?

in the old ical you could see the notes of any ical event on the right hand tool bar.

since I upgraded to leopard, I cant seem to find any setting to have notes be displayed with an event. I only seem to be able to find any notes by double clicking and event to see if there are notes in the pop up.

Any way to change this?

I agree with this... and I also think that when you double click and the bubble pops up, the links in there are lame. Very windows-ish...
