iCal event on iPhone doesn't exist and cannot be deleted

Hi - not sure if I should post here on within iCal, so apologies if I'm wrong.

I have an event on today's date "Renew Building Insurance" which isn't on iCal on my computer. There's no 'edit' button for me to be able to delete it so I can't get rid of it!

Oddly, if I Spotlight "Renew Building Insurance" on my Mac, it shows up on 4th Aug 2009, but when I click on it, there's nothing in iCal there either.

Any help appreciated!
