I just bought my second iPad and have been setting it up. As I tried to activate iCloud for the contacts and calendar apps (working on my iMac), the iMac calendar went into a mode where it displays a message "updating iCal calendars" and is completely hung up. I can't close the iCal and it won't let me restart. I restarted the iMac by unplugging it but the condition of iCal is the same. Also, all the iCal data seems to have disappeared.
This is very discouraging, to say the least. Any ideas?
