I rarely add 'Invitees' to my calendar events as it's just for personal use. But occasionally I'll want to add in my partner just so she's aware of a particular event. However whenever I add her to the 'Invitees', nothing happens. There is just a question mark beside her name. This all happens on our iPhones.
Does iMessage need to be enabled to make this work? Or could this be a problem with my iCloud account? At the minute my partner uses my iTunes (it's just easier that way) account, so her 'ID' is her personal e-mail whereas I use the default.
But just to confirm my opinion of how it works: You have an event and add a person. The person should be 'pushed' a notification to say 'Here's an event' and then they have the choice to accept or not. Assuming they accept, it'll appear in their calendar as well as their respective RSVP in mine. Is this correct?
