ICal Month Dots Events View

Is it me or did you never see a "dot" in the mini month view within Ical when you had an event on a day????
I have it on the iphone on month view but I could have sword that I had this on my Mac????

Searched everywhere to no avail.

I don't think there's ever been 'dot view' in iCal. That would be nice though

Came across this after my own search. YES, I also am sure there was a dot view. iCal is silly without it. Where did it go? Yes, it is on my iPhone like it was on the MacBook before one of the updates!

Anyone come up with a cure?
