iCal on desktop?

is there any way i can get my iCal events and tasks to be dislplayed on the desktop?

you might want to try Konfabulator, there are a couple of widgets that should do what you want. i have found that i quite a cpu hog though. especially with many widgets open.

I've been using MenuCalendarClock and absolutely love it. It puts a little calendar icon up next to the clock displaying the date, you can then click on it and a monthly calendar pops down and also displays whatever it is you've put in iCal.
