Ical problem - events moving

in Ical, Has anyone ever had problems with events shifting over a day without reason or any warning, I open Ical and notice that certain events have moved over by one day, what is going on? This of course makes the calendar totally useless, when it can't be trusted.

Any pointers appreciated.
