I am having a problem getting iCal to save my data. I made a backup of my iCal from Tiger. When I installed Leopard, I opened the new iCal and imported the backup file. The moment I close iCal, and then open it later, all the data is *gone*. As if, it is not writing to the database. Does anyone have any recommendations for me on how to fix that? It's rather annoying and I am not sure where the new data I am inputting is being saved, or if it is being saved at all.

Sometimes it takes a while for it to process all your restored data. How long do you wait before quitting iCal again?

The initial and subsequent times I have re-imported the backup file I have left it open for several days. As a test, I closed it this morning and then re-opened it. No data. I then left it open, and when I returned home tonight, no data.
