I'm liking iOS 5 even though I have to rebuild everything from scratch since the process of updating was kind of rough, no big deal though.
Anyways, one thing I'm hating is that, now that iCloud is set up on my MBA and my iPhone to sync Reminders, the iCal app on my laptop doesn't let me create reminders under any other calendar except iCloud Reminders.
This is a big predicament for my workflow because what I do as a student is drag all of my assignments listed by due date in the calendar to the reminders list when I want to work on them that day. I was really hoping I could do this and it would simply sync to Reminders but that is not the case.
The next best thing is to copy a calendar event, create a new Reminder by right clicking and clicking 'New Reminder' and paste the event there. That gets messy since it seems to copy dates and times as well, which is really messy looking and ugly, not to mention the fact that I can no longer have different colored reminders which represent different classes, necessitating that I either know what class the pasted Reminder is related to or I edit the name to say the course acronym.
Perhaps some one can tell me I'm wrong, but other than that there goes one feature that I will miss dearly. Still love
