I want to know if I create an event here in Pacific Time, and send it to someone in Eastern Time, if the event will automatically correct for the time zone change?
Like I schedule a meeting on my calendar at 1pm and send the event to someone who opens it on the east coast, will it automatically figure out that the meeting time would be at 4pm eastern time?
I'm dealing with contractors in different time zones, who can't seem to get their stuff straight, so I figure if I do events like this, they have no excuse. Unless of course iCal doesn't figure it out automatically then it will confuse them even more. I know for a fact that they are running iMac's with just the basic software and whats out there open source, so I'm 99% sure they are using iCal as well.
