iCal "Shadow" not Dark Enough

Alright, I looked for an answer to this, but I'm guessing since it's so nit picky no one else cares....

Is there any way (hack, terminal stuff) to make the day that is highlighted in iCal darker? As in, when I am in month view, and I do a command+T to go to Today, today's date is highlighted in the lightest shade of blue EVER... Anyway to make it darker?

Again, this is ridiculously nit picky, but if someone knows how/what to do to make it darker, let me know...
