I've noticed this with my new computer (running 10.6.6), but can't figure out a way to change it. In all views - day, week and month - for each event, it shows the day, month and date, then the time. It'd be nice to see only the time, since the day, month and date is already shown elsewhere.

I've attached a couple screenshots (I hope).

Also, in the edit event view (attached), there is some extra weird days and other digits, correlating to the date of the event. These are also extraneous, since that information is just before the others.

I'm sure these are related.

Any help?

Thanks!

I can't get mine (iCal 3.0.7) to do either of the things you show. What happens when you check "All day" and close the window?

I have 4.0.4.

When you click all day and close the window, everything looks as it should (attached).

I can't get this to do it on either of my other two macs, either.

I just got off the phone with Apple Care, and here's what they found.

There was a problem with my system prefs.

System prefs>Language & Text>Formats, it was set to "custom". It should be on "United States"

I'm not sure how that happened, but it's fixed now.

Thanks anyway, but I wanted to post the solution here for future use.
