I realize by the very nature of the word "subscription" it implies "read only", but one can always hope.

If you add an ical calendar to your iphone now under 3.0 (via accounts or by link), is it possible to somehow add an appointment on the phone and have it save back to the subscribed calendar? Or is it impossible?

If it is possible, I could get my google calendar information (back/forth) through subscription, and then use the exchange slot for my work email/calendar.

I answered my own question. Just sign your google calendar up via CALDAV account.

But what CALDAV stands for ? i don't understand yet what subscription calendar option means on the new iPhone 3.x ...
Every change is made on google account is automagically transferred to iPhone OTA and viceversa ?
