iPod touch iCal Sync Problem

I have a 16gig Touch running 2.0.2

I do not want to push my calendar info to my Touch.
Is there a way to do this manually without going online?
All I want to do is plug my Touch into my laptop and sync that way.

Or do I need to sync and push over the air now?

Push will only work if you have MobileMe, so if you don't have MobileMe you're fine. Do you have MobileMe?
