I got a weird problem in iCal. Cant seem to find any info anywhere...

The "today-cell" is supposed to be highlighted with a light-blue color, and the cell you click on is supposed to have a grey-ish backgrond. Well, NOT ANYMORE for me!! I havent got a clue why, and it is kind of annoying since the highlighted today-cell makes it easier to orientate when using iCal...

Is it an update-issue (I updated everything about a week ago) or do you still have the hightlighting?

Any help appreciated...

Since it is still there for you guys, could you tell which computer you are on, and whether you have updated everything to the most recent update...

(I am on a MBP 15" 2,33 Ghz - and have updated everything)

Imac 24 inch Ical not highlighting today's date in blue...

.. hard to use the calendar, and I called tech support. The young man did not help.

I expect one of you smart young chargers to come up with the fix.

it's just VERY light

If I tilt my laptop screen all the way back, the contrast goes up and the blue highlight appears once again. It turns out that it's just very light! What's the use of a super-subtle highlight? Even on other monitors where I can see it without doing monitor Yoga, it still takes time to find "Today".

I WISH THIS WAS CONFIGURABLE!

No, its not a contrast issue. It is GONE. Found several posts on the net with the same issue, no solution so far... or?

Sorry, i was wrong. IT IS A CONTRAST ISSUE...

Some applications, apparently change the screen contrast without your knowing it. Then the highlight becomes impossible to see. You can manually change the screen contrast back so the highlight is visible. Go to the Universal Access system preference and click the Seeing tab. Move the contrast slider all the way to the left, to Normal. This should make the highlighted day visible.
