I'm hoping someone out there can help me, as I've searched extensively to no avail.
I've synched my Macbook to MMe with great success up to a few weeks ago when I discovered a corrupt repeating event in iCal was causing issues. Apparantly (though I could not see it in iCal) the event was repeating itself on certain days - making over 6,000 events on one day and over 1,000 on another day which got synced to MMe. As you can imagine, MMe.com was not happy with this and hung every time I tried to access the online calendar.
I found the corrupt event and fixed it in iCal - simply deleted it altogether from the .icbu file. However, future syncs have not fixed the issue in MMe calendar - it's still showing 6,000+ events as it did before and hanging most of the time.
And I cannot delete the repeating calendar event in MMe either...it simply will not disappear. That said, the event could not be removed in iCal either...which is why someone suggested in find it in the .icbu file and manually delete it.
On the surface, it sounds like I need to wipe MMe calendar data clean and do a fresh sync with iCal - but I cannot figure out how to do this. I know the first time you sync it gives you an option to have iCal overwrite MMe, but now I'm unable to do this?
Can anyone help me?
Oh, and I do NOT sync an iPhone or iTouch....just MacBook to MMe.
Thanks in advance!
Dan
