What is the difference between iCal and 'to do' apps?
Is it not for same purposes?

Thanks.

The difference is that the iCal is really more of a calendar solution, whereas the 'to do' apps (e.g. Things) let you plan your activities according to the Get Things Done (GTD) methodology. This way you can merge related activities as part of a common project, or you can use tags to help with their identification.

I find it odd that the 'things to do' list in iCal does not sync with Apple's Calendar app. This would be really useful to me--does anyone know how to make this work?
