Is there a way to revert back to the old iCal that was before the upgrade to Maverick? I really don't like the fact that they decided to run all of the months together. It is hard to discern quickly the difference between the months. It looks extremely cluttered to me now. Help!

Nope... the underlying system in 10.9 will not support that old iCal version. Maybe you would like a third party option something like BusyCal is very similar to the old iCal. Not cheap though.
