Im more of a simplistic/nature guy... so you guessed it, Dark wood
I feel like the light Wood will feel like cheap synthetic wood floors.
How ever I'm just buying for the back of the iPad and just stick with a clear screen protector.

I have the dark wood on my iPad 2 and it looks great. It also looks just as good today as when I put it on almost a year ago.
