I have my 24" iMac set up to share its internet connection over AirPort. I just installed an Airport card into my 12" G3 iBook. I have no issues connecting to the internet (like browsing MR in Safari). My problem is with iChat.
When I open iChat, Bonjour connects fine, but AIM does not connect. It just tries for ~1 minute, then gives a "The connection could not be completed because it timed out. Try again" error. Trying again yields the same results (surprise). Is there something I need to set up/enable on my iMac or iBook?
Sorry if this thread is in the wrong section, I think this is a software issue involving a Mac application.
