iChat and AIM Not Working Together

I tried to get a video conference started between my iChat and my aunt's AIM program. We got an unknown error (as in none) when I tried to start the conference and I got a "communication problem" when my aunt tried to start the conference.

What's the deal? Is it just the newest version of iChat that works with AIM? I'm not sure what version I have.

i saw ppl complaining about 10.4.9 update broke ichat, but I have no experience of this,

as for video conference, I think skype is a good idea too.

It could be your aunt's version of AIM.

It could be your aunt's version of AIM.

To my knowledge, AIM Triton does not work with iChat. I have gotten it to work with AIM 4.9 for PC. Which should still be available on AIM's page.
