I've been working on this for a while now in apple discussions and on the phone with apple. I can see the video test server from apple, but cant get a connection with my mother in CA.

I have from the wall, an Actiontec m1000 modem to a linksys WRT54G and connecting wireless.

There are 3 computers in this LAN, and our ISP is Qwest. 1 Computer is hardwired to the WRT54G and the Laptops connecti wirelessly.

DO i need to enable UPnP on the WRT54G and just simply open the ports on the M1000 to a static IP?

Where I'm having problems is when I try to create a static IP on my notebook for the modem, of course then I cant connect to the WRT54G because my IP doesnt meet the WRT54G standards for IP. But I cant find a UPnP on the m1000.

PLEASE help!
