Is there anyway to mute incoming audio when using iChat video?

I'd rather not mute the entire system as I would just like to mute incoming audio when I'm on webcam with my girlfriend. When I was on my PC and used AIM for webcam, there was that option.

Why would you want to mute your girlfriend? :D

Pairing up a Bluetooth headset may be a solution you seek. ;)

Haha!

Well we're already on the phone when we webcam. Plus for some reason, her laptop camera will pick up other noise, like her TV or her dogs barking or her typing when she's typing up homework/facebook/perusing the internet.

On the phone and webcam - that must be like watching a poorly-dubbed foreign film.

I completely forgot about the keyboard / computer noise. Now that I think of it, chatting with my friend in the UK - I could swear she was using a jackhammer on the keyboard. That got old, fast.

Make her get a bluetooth headset? That frees up hands too, for typing.
