iChat Backdrops and AIM

Hello, I am a potential mac owner and I have always loved and used apples products (ipods, phone) but i have a quick question. When I am using a backdrop in video chat with someone who has aim, will they still be able to see my backdrop...also what else can i use that they can or cant see if they have aim. thanks

Any AIM app that can receive an iChat video will see all the video effects

I can attest to that. I did that with a friend and he wanted to know how he could do it in AIM. I said you have to have iChat and to get that you have to have a Mac. He said, "I gotta get a Mac."
