ichat buddy list problem

I've got a problem with my buddy list in ichat. Used to, when I'd sign in to ichat every buddy that was also signed in would move to the top of my buddy list and be in bold. Now, my buddys don't move to the top. They just are in bold, but stay where they are. It's real annoying because to see who is online, I have to scroll down through my buddy list instead of just looking at the top of it.

Has anybody ever had this happen, and, if so, how did you fix it?

Did you by chance just update to 10.3.6? I noticed the same thing about a week ago and didn't think much of it, but now that you mention it I first noticed it around the time of the update.
