I have MacBook running 10.5.6 and normally I have no problems connecting to iChat to do video chats. When at my parents when I connect wirelessly to their Linksys wrt54g version 6 w/ firmware 1.02.6 installed I receive the following error:
There was a communication error during your chat. Did not receive a response from..

Using the same wireless network I was able to video iChat with another Mac user in the house.

In the Linksys router I enabled the following Port Ranges:
5190
5220
5223
5297
5298
5353
5678
16384-16403

In System Preferences > Sharing > Firewall I have "Allow all incoming connections" checked.

I will presume the problem is with the Linksys WRT54G but cannot figure out a solution. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Thank you for looking.

Drats! I forgot to add a more descriptive title. Urgh....

I wish I could help you but considering I've got the same problem with my Mici KN-S1060 Broaband Router/Firewall... I'm not much help. Is there any third party app like Little Snitch blocking it?
