ichat download

I'm using jaguar and I trash-canned and perm deleted my ichat, due to the fact that it wasn't functioning properly.

Now I'm without ichat and I've looked around and can't find a basic version of chat to download.

Any suggestions?

If you're looking for iChat AV, then it's $29.95 for Jaguar users. The one released before for Jaguar was a public beta that has now expired.

If you want the version that came with the OS, then I'm sure there's a way to install it from the Jaguar CD if you still have it. I believe there's a way to install it without completely restoring the system, but I'm not sure how.

Yeah, if you have the OS disks, it should be in a folder called packages. If you're using a software restore disk, you'll need a package reader I believe.
