iChat framerate

Just installed Tiger and wanted to check if the quality of the videochat is indeed much better than in Panther. However immediately after starting the videochat my framerate drops and after 1O sec I have 1 fps!! My bitrate however remains the same. I did not have this in Panther !

Anyone has the same problem or knows a sollution?

(btw I use the iSight, so no problem with the webcam )

99% of the people with this problem have "Virex" installed. uninstall it and it should be fine

I removed everything from Virex and even rebooted the system, but the low framerate is still there. Any other solutions?
