iChat freezing during picture sending

Freezes until picture is sent then catches itself up with anything that may have been typed.

Really annoying, is there a fix out there?

I am having the same problem. I have narrowed it down to my internet provider or my modem I am using AT&T DSL at home. I don't have this problem at work with the same lap top.
