iChat help needed

When I set my buddy picture other than the factory leaf people using AIM can't see my icon. About a week ago I had a custom icon it was working fine and people were able to see it with AIM, but for some reason all of a sudden the only icon they can see if that green leaf. I also made sure my icon was 64x64 pixels and under 7k in size. Any suggestion?

I've never had this happen to me, but perhaps trashing your prefs will fix this? Don't resort to that yet. Wait for some more replies.

Any other suggestions, I have yet to solve this problem.
