So I open iChat, it signs me on, says welcome, then immediately signs me off. I've tried restarting the computer, unplugging my router, unplugging my modem.. no help. I'm having no problems with my internet browser or getting on xbox live so it's not an internet issue. Please help. As always, thanks in advance for any advice.

on the top of my head.. i recommend you search around the forum for ichat problems.. one way is to change the port number i believe..
I also recommend Adium. (thought it has no video chat ability)
Seconded. Are there actually any IM clients as easy to use as Adium in existence that allow you to connect to just about any IM network at the same time?
