iChat Login Help

I have Gmail and I want to use google talk on iChat. I also want to use AIM on iChat. However, my firewall blocks talk.google.com and the chat feature in http://mail.google.com, so I have to use https://mail.google.com to use chat in Gmail. I do not wish to configure my firewall differently, and I do not want to download third-party software. Is there any other way to log into Gmail (eg. different server)? Also, is there an other way than login.oscar.aol.com for AIM (an error BadFlapFraming occurs)? Or do I have to move the binary file from that specific site to a specific location? Please consider Gmail before AIM because I use Gmail much more. Thanks!
