This friend of mine is having a really weird problem with her iChat application. What's happening is that the iChat Agent, which handles the little iChat menubar icon, can log her on and she can see all her online buddies in that menu. However, when someone sends her a message and iChat opens up, or she opens up iChat manually, iChat just crashes with an EXC_BAD_ACCESS (or whatever that error code is). I tried deleting com.apple.iChat.AIM.plist and com.apple.iChat.plist in her Preferences folder (and I tried restarting), but nothing seems to fix the problem.

The other thing I did was download the official AIM client, and she successfully logged in with that, and there are no weird error messages that might cause iChat to crash.

This is iChat NON-AV, just so it's clear.

I also don't want to have to deal with migrating her over to another user, because that would just be too much of a hassle.

Is there anywhere else that possible iChat settings could be stored? Or has anybody else encountered this problem and knows of a fix? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
