I'm running 10.4.7 on both of my computers, a 20" iMac G5 2.0 GHz and a 12" PowerBook G4 867 MHz. Checking Apple's website, I've found out that my iMac (hopefully it would!) supports 4-way video chats but my PowerBook does not.
I need to use my PowerBook to at least participate in these types of chats, so I looked on Google and discovered ECamm Network's PowerBooster. This allows me to initiate multi-party video chats, but others can't see in iChat that the PowerBook is capapble of participating?
Also, my iMac does not let me initiate or participate in multi-party video chats... why?

That is the specs recommended to participate in a 4way video conference.
1GHz G4, dual 800 MHz G4, any G5, or any Intel Core

I'm willing to bet that it would let you participate your only shy 153MHz, which isnt a huge difference. Although it may not let you detecting that you only have 847MHz.
