iChat - Online Chat Log backup... any idea?

Hello!

I was wondering if any of you knew if you can save a backup of your iChat chats online? I would have thought you could choose to save a copy of your chat log on your .mac account for example, so that you can access your chats (old and new) wherever you are, and you are not restricted to be on your computer.

It´s basically just like you´d save a copy (backup) of your emails online, or if you have your sms messages available to you on your account with your mobile / cell provider.

Any idea anyone???

Hmm, I do know that you can locally save chats in iChat by going to Prefs -> Messages and then ticking the box "Automatically save chat transcripts to." I guess if you wanted to have these chats accessible across multiple devices you might consider saving them to a server?

Use iChat's logging function with Back to My Mac.

The chat logs are stored in ~/Documents/iChats/ .
