ichat or skype?

What does everyone use? If we have an iSight webcam, do we waste it's quality via Skype? I've heard that Skype is a bit more reliable than iChat. I've had problems with iChat freezing, not connecting, etc.

if iChat could be used to have AV chats with MSN, you wouldn't be able to get me off it.

I use Metal Adium. I use iChat for Video chat when I rarely use it. and I never used Skype..

i use both, but mainly skype, as I have some skype-out credit and can call my wife when she's at a hotel (if the hotel doesnt have low cost internet where we could use iChat or skype for video)

skype has come a very long way, it's definately worth a look!

Both, actually, since they serve different purposes. Audio quality and stability is so much better with Skype. The video window is much bigger with iChat so far but that might change.

You can't make or receive phone calls with iChat so if you really want that, you have to use Skype or something other than iChat.
