So I'm on another Wifi signal and I can not to connect to iChat... it will log in and out and then say I logged in too many times... I wait and then I log in again and then same thing happens again. How is this happening? Why can't I log in? Thanks.
Running the new 2.4 blackbook, and I updated everything.

Could you be more specific?

Are you using the .Mac login? AOL Login? If the AOL Login, this has happened before to many people. Several fixes are out.

Search the forums here and Apple discussions. It's happened to me before but only with the AOL Login, my .Mac login always worked fine.

Apple Discussons was where I found the best answers for the AOL login issue, something about changing the ports.

So how would I change that?
Sorry yes I am using AIM

I don't have any special ports open on iChat so "iChat port isn't open... bla bla" may help but as others have had the exact same issue the fix is posted somewhere.

If your using AOL login, it's a known issue.

Head over to the Apple Discussions board. I'm not going to research the link but there are fixes there and steps on what to do.

Others have had this same issue.

Thank you for the help.
