Ichat problem in getting videl

My daughter has an IBM compatible and an AIM name. I have a G4 OS10.3.9 with a .mac AIM name. We can connect with each other, the software says we are available, we can send text messages. We can see ourselves on our cameras if we turn them on locally. But we can't see each other. Someone have a solution?
