iChat Problem! please help!

ok so i have had this problem wiht my ichat where it has been going on forever, and when ever i send a link to somebody i get this error message The other person, or their software, refused the request. now this doesnt just happen once in a while, it happens all the time and its become very fustrating. anyideas on how i can fix it?! please help me!

I also have this problem.
It happens when you want to send a long messge. And I have to cut the whole message into short pieces in order to send it.

I also have this problem. It's only when sending a link though. Very frustrating. Actually, sometimes I can ssend a link, but most the time I cannot. It seems like the longer links don't work...or maybe links with certain characters. I sure wish I could find a solution. This problem only started happening to me. It might be ever since I got this Intel iMac (I had a G5 before). I'm not sure.
