iChat problem

I recently switched my screename and manually added my contacts to my new buddy list. I did this by clicking the "add" button in the bottom left corner of the iChat Buddy List Screen. Anyways, after doing that I signed onto my old screename via Adium and I saw that half of my contacts were still online. I then tried adding the ones that didnt show up as new contacts but that didn't work either. I really don't know what to do.

EDIT: It wont add some of my buddies for some reason. I've tried Adium, iChat, and AIM

That sounds like quite the problem you have there. I've never heard of anything like that so I'm afraid I can't help you out. Hopefully someone else here will be able to.
