iChat problems

i was mucking about with iChat (as ive never really used it) my GF downloaded AIM (XP) 5.5 on her machine, we can chat ok, but when i try to send a video invite it opens the window showing my cam is working, and states that its waiting for my GF to respond, and when she does (clicks accept) i get a message saying i didnt respond?!?!?!?

my GF then said something about a firewall....checked my machine, i dont have mine turned on and neither does she, i checked my router and again the firewall is turned off

any idea's as to whats up?

I think it may be because iChat video only works with other people on iChat. I may be wrong though.


try doing video with someone else that is using iChat and has iSight.

Mac 2 PC video chat is on and off.... the only way I've ever been able to do it is when the PC invites me to the video chat
