I am business Mac man. Everyone I know use PC (See Apple.com) and yahoo messanger. I know there is a yahoo messenger for Mac, but is it possible to chat with a yahoo user. Of all the supposed AOL users, I don't seem to personally know any...

By "chat," do you mean video/audio chat or just IM back and forth?

You can definitely IM with people, although, you'll probably want to use Adium instead of iChat. As for video/audio chats....I'm not sure, but I don't think so.

Yes, that is exactly what Yahoo Messenger for Mac is for. (And it does do AV as well as text, and it supports the iSight). You also have other options:

1) You can install Adium, Proteus, Fire, etc, which let you chat with people on many different IM protocols from one IM program (I use Adium with Yahoo, MSN, AOL, and Google Talk).

2) You can use a Jabber gateway with iChat to chat with people on the other services through iChat.

There are numerous threads about those, so please search for them.
