ichat question

Does anyone know if I can talk to gtalk people through ichat?
If so can you tell me how because I am new to it. I really appreciate the help

I wanted to know if ichat could talk with gtalk.
not using ichat to sign in with gtalk.

so lets say i have ichat and add in the gtalk user would we be able to chat?
or
if my friend using gtalk adds in my ichat address. will i be able to chat with her?
