iChat quits immediately after opening; Broken pipe

iChat quits immediately after I open it. It does this repeatedly and there is no way that It'll stay open for more than a few seconds. When I open it using terminal, it opens then terminal displays "Broken pipe" and it quits.

Anyone know of a remedy???
