ichat saving to "authentication.nib" - where is this file?

Just got a Macbook Pro and am using iChat for now (it's a loaner, Apple screwed up the last one).

Within the preferences it says it will save all chats to this file called "authentication.nib" which I can't find and cannot find an answer to what it even is.

Help? Where can I find it on the system?
