iChat Server functionality

I'd like to replace my current instant messaging system with something else -iChat server might be a possibility. I would need the following

1. Ability to create groups of users and rooms based on those groups
2. Active Directory integration
3. Secure communications

I know #3 is possible, but what about #1 & 2 ?
