Hi There, I hope someone can help with this.

I have a .mac account, which I**use for iChat access too.

When underway, I use iSight and a Powerbook G4.

If I want a second iSight plus the needed account) for my Mac at home to be able to correspond (video chat) with my family, do I need a complete 2nd .Mac account , or is purchasing a second .Mac e-mail address sufficient, to gain access to iChat on the home Mac?

Anyone any tips on this?

Cheers! :)

I video chat with my PC-using brother, who has an AIM account, so I think it'll work just fine.

.Mac allows you to create several user names and each on of these is ok to be used in iChat. There should not be a conflict.

I guess what he means is that you can create aliases on the .mac website. Go to the mail part and you can create them. I'm guessing that these aliases can then be used with iChat, so that you don't have to sign up for other names on AIM or sign up for more .Mac accounts. You can also use those aliases for mail, so you can give you kids an email address this way that all just filters into one mail box that you can check to make sure they aren't doing anything they are not suppost too be doing.
