iChat status message issue

I use iChat for Gtalk and AIM and so far I love it, except when I change my status to Away (red dot), it appears as idle (orange dot) to my Gtalk friends. I had a couple people wondering how my status was idle while we were chatting. Is there a fix to this?? Switching to another app like Adium is not an option. Thanks.

No. Gtalk uses the Jabber protocol and AIM uses the AIM protocol. Probably a bug where the away command was misinterpreted by Gtalk/AIM. So use only one at a single time or use gtalk when your on gmail.

I don't think you understood my situation. I'm using iChat, signed into my Gtalk account (and AIM). But my iChat busy status appears as idle to other Gtalk users.. We're both using jabber since they see me on my Gtalk account.
