iChat to MSN Messenger

I've got a friend who already has a Mac (lucky b!tch). Anyway, she uses iChat and I use MSN Messenger. I read that iChat can now communicate w/ MSN contacts.

How?

If someone's bored enough, could they write down some step-by-step instructions for adding MSN contacts to iChat? I would, but I don't have a Mac (yet...) so I haven't a clue.

Google "msn to ichat". Seems Jabber may be an option.
