Hello. I am trying to have a video conference with a friend of mine, and it will not work. I am using ichat on my mbp and she using aim on her pc.

We thought it may have been our routers and firewalls. So we both forwarded a bunch of ports that I found on the internet with no luck.

We also tried trillian to ichat, msn to msn, trillian to ichat etc. Nothing worked. We tried skype to skype and that worked, however it was very laggy and slow.

I set up a direct connection from my modem straight to my mbp with ethernet. and it worked, and it worked fine.

Now I know the problem is my router, how do I fix it? I've turned off any firewall on my mbp + router, I've port forwarded those ports, yet nothing will work.

Any idea?
